Each book contains over 300 pages of activities in 20 categories. You will find activities like matching, counting, addition, subtraction, writing, phonics, cloze, patterning, fine motor, graphing and more. Unlike other activity books that contain just one or two worksheets to teach or reinforce a concept, All About Animals provides numerous activities at four different levels of difficulty. Supporting CDs also allow you to print activities directly from your computer! Each activity set identifies the area being taught, outlines the standards that are addressed, and provides directions for student use. Each activity links to curriculum content and functional performance standards. Teachers can browse for standard-specific activities using a handy matrix. You will find an array of standards-based activities to help students on the Autism Spectrum as well as students with cognitive impairments and physical disabilities. These products feature photographs and Mayer-Johnson Picture Communication symbols. For students with special considerations, there are recommendations for no-tech/low-tech adaptations for access. Most activities require little or no preparation (photocopying, cutting, laminating, etc.). Check out our supplemental and game CDs. We couldn?t fit all of the activities in the books, so we?ve made CDs available that collectively provide over 3,000 additional activities.
